Lovely people, from July 13th, Rothar will be piloting a 4 day work week for 6 months before review. Instead of working 5 days from 10am to 6pm, we will be working 4 days from 9am to 6pm. The shop will be open those days only. Why do we want to do it? Isn't it risky?

As a retail outlet, it could be (we will study that closely). But we reckon that opening 36 hours a week instead of 40 is not a big deal. But getting a 3 day weekend is. High hours aren't healthy, we will see if they are necessary.

What about salaries? They don't change. Fewer hours, same pay. The main thing really for us is quality of life, having more time for leisure, kids, biking and getting happier people at work. Wish us luck!
