Achielle’s latest bike has been a little while in development but they have produced an amazingly versatile bike that is the perfect replacement for a car. Jean has a rugged steel frame, shimano’s ultra reliable electronic gears and ebike drive system, puncture resistant tyres and a comfortable relaxed riding position perfect for the urban jungle or open road. Options are available for either luggage or carrying children, you can even combine the two. As with all Achielle bikes there are endless options to create a truly unique bike.

Now take two small children with you in a bicycle seat and transport them safely within a few years with the top bracket on the rear carrier.

Thanks to its compact size, you can easily cycle through the city with the Longtail, just like with a regular e-bike. The frame with a wide and low 'step through', combined with the stable, central stand ensures that you can easily get on and off and park.

Here are some frequently asked questions regarding the cycle to work scheme for both employers and employees.
Can anyone avail of the bike-to-work scheme?
The bike to work scheme is aimed at employees under Irish tax system. You must be an employee (pay PRSI PAYE)or a director of a company in order to avail of the tax discount.
I’m a sole trader/company owner, can I use this scheme?
Only employees who pay PAYE PRSI can use this scheme, but if you are a company director and pay yourself from a business account you can avail of the scheme. If you are self-employed, and using the bike as part of your business and pay VAT, you can reclaim the paid VAT on the bicycle yourself.
How much can I spend?
The scheme covers up to €1250 for a new bike/accessories every 4 years, or up to €1500 for a new electric bike/accessories every 4 years, or up to €3000 for a cargo bike. If you want to spend more than what the scheme covers, you will pay the balance yourself.

NATIONWIDE DELIVERY OF FULLY ASSEMBLED ELECTRIC BIKES AND CARGO BIKES - 90€
You can get your bike fully assembled to your door for 90€ (flat fee) to the rest of the country. Please send us your Eircode. Please note this does not apply to discounted bikes.
DELIVERY OF UNASSEMBLED BIKES (EXCEPT CARGO BIKES) - FREE OF CHARGE
Bikes for Home Assembly will be shipped within 1-2 working days in a box with An Post. We recommend you get the bike professionally assembled.
PICK-UP
If you prefer picking up the bike from the shop, we are open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am to 6pm. We would generally have the bike ready within 24 to 48 hours.
